Barry Brennan is Founder and Managing Director of CapF9 Ventures.
Barry holds a LL.B. (Hons) Bachelor in Law from Trinity College, Dublin, a BSc (Hons) in Digital Technology, Design and Innovation from the Technological University of Dublin (formerly Dublin Institute of Technology) and a Diploma in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors. He was admitted as a barrister-at-law in England and Wales and as an attorney-at-law in New York State.
Barry has 25+ years international experience in law, corporate finance, venture investment and investment management at leading global financial institutions. As European Head of Client Solutions at Rabobank, he managed a large multidisciplinary financial innovation team located in 5 countries, building bespoke financial solutions for some of the world's leading food, agricultural, financial and industrial companies and has direct deal experience in Europe, Asia and the Americas. Having developed, led and implemented innovative financial solutions throughout his career, he understands the challenges innovators face building new products and solutions.
Barry has many years' experience as a Board Member and Board Advisor and is a Non Executive Director for number large finance companies based in Ireland. Barry also acts as a specialist investment manager for an international Fund operation based in Dublin.
He is active in the Irish and UK Technology ecosystems as:

Barry has extensive early stage experience advising a large variety of early stage and scaling technology enterprises. Barry and CapF9 have arranged funding and advised a range of technology related companies across Ireland and the UK across AgTech, FinTech, SaaS and RegTech.
